About

Márcia Simões, who signs her work as Masimmo, is a Lisbon-based visual storyteller whose photography bridges fine art, documentary, and cinematic vision. From early days spent sketching and painting, she carried a strong creative core into adulthood. After earning a degree in Product Design and later a Law degree, she turned fully toward the visual arts, channeling her imagination into photography, cinematography, and film direction.

Her style is rooted in a cinematic eye — each frame is carefully composed, with light, shadow, and narrative in mind. Through her lens, she transforms ordinary scenes into rich, evocative moments, inviting viewers to linger, imagine, and feel. Her portfolio spans portrait, fine art, product, natural light, nature, and cinematography.

For Masimmo, photography is more than capturing scenes; it's about immortalizing a vision — translating the feeling of time and space into something you can hold, display, and live with. Each poster on this site is a fragment of that vision: a visual poem meant to dwell on walls, provoke thought, and infuse spaces with emotion.
