Constantine Pasanidi
Constantine Pasanidi is an illustrator whose work reflects a lifelong advocacy for freedom of self-expression, a value instilled by his parents, who raised him as a free and liberated individual. Through his art, Constantine translates his thoughts, concerns, and personal experiences into compelling visuals, often portraying strong and inspiring characters—some drawn from real life and others born from his imagination.
He avoids idealization but deeply admires figures who have fought for liberation and individuality. His illustrations employ mixed media, combining layers of paint and pencil to create a dynamic and diverse aesthetic. This variety mirrors his core belief: everyone is unique, with their own quirks and achievements, and this individuality is what makes us extraordinary.
Constantine’s work has garnered recognition from renowned figures and publications, including Madonna, Bruno Mars, Carine Roitfeld, photographers Inez & Vinoodh, Mert Alas, Vogue Italia and Portugal, ELLE Kazakhstan, and many others.
"The only world that I can and wish to convey is one where we are all accepted, and where we can all be free to be ourselves without judgment, stigma, bigotry, or hate. And this world can only be achieved through the hard work of the icons you portray in your content - which is why I would be so eager and honored to illustrate them." Constantine Pasanidi
